When I went and bought pliers, I really did get them for cool tough-guy purposes like Cutting Chains and Twisting Wires.

...The #1 thing I actually use them for is to pull needles through thick fabric without hurting my fingers.

We as a society do not sufficiently appreciate that we can, on a(n admittedly mildly expensive) whim, go to the grocery, buy pine nuts, take them home, toast them in a pan, and eat them. I just think we should really consider that fact.

Everybody talks about captions being important for accessibility (which obviously is true and correct) but nobody talks about how awesome they are for finding quotes with timestamps attached really really fast. I can ctrl + f a subtitle file!
